
KAMPALA– Uganda’s musician Eddy Kenzo real name Edrisa Musuuza over the weekend during the Uganda France Friendship week took the opportunity and launched his Big Talent Soccer Academy. This took place at Kyadondo Rugby grounds.
The 2015 BET Award winner revealed his excitement through his social media platforms where he posted affirming the new developments on the academy.
“It’s Monday and we can’t keep calm. We are pleased to announce that we are officially open after a special launch ceremony during the Uganda France Friendship week finale by H. E Stephanie Rivoal French Ambassador to Uganda and William Blick, President Uganda Olympics Committee. Let the games begin” Eddy Kenzo stated.
Kenzo formed the Academy as a channel to help and support the local community through uplifting talents.
According to him, he did this as a way of giving back to the community. His main aim is to groom soccer players in and around the country. Kenzo on several interviews has revealed that he would be a footballer player if he didn’t become a singer.
The singer together with Her Excellence Stephanie Rivoal the French Ambassador to Uganda and William Blick the President Uganda Olympics Committee announced and signed a certificate revealing the official launch of the soccer academy in front of a huge crowd at Kyadondo Rugby grounds.
Eddy Kenzo’s latest achievement has been received with lots of applause from his fans with many promising to enroll their children at his academy.
