
KAMPALA – The Ugandan capital, Kampala, will on Monday 26 November host the 1st Kampala Business Conclave (KBC).
The half-day paid-for gathering which is expected to attract hundreds of businesspeople will take place at Kampala Serena Hotel, Victoria Ballroom. A ticket will go for $100 (UGX372,900); while a table will cost $1,000 (UGX3.7m) only.
Organised by AB & David Africa, the meeting will run on the theme: “Expanding Business and Trade in Uganda – the combined effect of the Economic Partnership Agreement, Continental Free Trade Area, & China Belt and Road Initiative”.
Aim
KBC is a high-level meeting of top business leaders who will discuss trade, business, investment, projections, and opportunities; and try to find solutions for the existing challenges. It will also demystify opportunities available to Uganda in light of international developments.
The conclave will be graced by keynote speakers including Mr. David Bahati, the Minister of State for Finance, Ms. Maria Kiwanuka (former Minister of Finance), Mr. Patrick Bitature (Chairman Simba Group), and Mr. Tony Oteng Gyasi, the MD Tropical Cables & Conductors.
