
TEL AVIV – RwandAir, the national carrier for the Republic of Rwanda has on Tuesday on June 25 extended its footprint to Israel with a new route to Tel Aviv , a week after the addition Guangzhou among it’s route destination.
The flight will seamlessly connect tourists and business travellers on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturday using Boeing 737 – 800NG offering a capacity of 16 and 138 business and economy class seats respectively.
Ms. Yvone Manzi Makolo, CEO RwandAir affirmed the addition of the route was moved to connect the world.
“The addition of Tel Aviv to the network is part of a long term plan to link to the rest of the world. It is one of the world leading tech hubs, and look to flying business travellers and pilgrims visiting the Holy land to and from on the network of the new route,” said Makolo.
She added: “It will be a great opportunity to ease travel and strengthen diplomatic ties between the two countries.”
Speaking to PML Daily, Mr.Ivan Mugisha, the country director, RwandAir Uganda remarked;
“We are excited by the launch of Tel Aviv that makes the destination the 29th on our ever-growing network. This presents trade, investment and tourism opportunities between Israel and all countries we serve. We already have inquiries and groups bookings by pilgrims from various religious sects in Uganda that have shown a keen interest in the short connections and affordable fares unlike before.”
This confirms that the budding giant in the aviation industry with so far twelve aircrafts is holding the bull by it’s horns.
The expansion of the network will spill to America markets to New YorkCity.
