KAMPALA – The government through Uganda National Bureau of Standards – UNBS has certified another 48 companies to produce non-medical face masks.
In the wake of the 2nd wave of Covid-19 infections, UNBS under its mandate of ensuring the quality and safety, earlier this month approved 57 companies to manufacture non-medical face masks. These totals to 105 approved companies.
