
KAMPALA, UGANDA — The Shell Lugogo Service Station in Kampala reopened Tuesday, boasting enhanced services and state-of-the-art facilities aimed at improving customer experience.
The service station, operated by Vivo Energy Uganda, underwent a comprehensive refurbishment that began in September 2024 and was completed in December.
“The reopening of Shell Lugogo Service Station marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing high-quality services and products to our customers,” said Alinafe Mkavea, Chief Commercial Officer of Vivo Energy Uganda.
The revamped service station features modernized fuel pumps, expanded parking spaces, and improved traffic flow. The service bay area has also been expanded to accommodate more customers.

In addition, the service station now offers a wider range of products and services, including financial services and dining options at two restaurants, KFC and Java House.
“We are committed to continuously improving our services to meet the evolving needs of our customers,” said Joanita Mukasa Menya, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Uganda.
The reopening of Shell Lugogo Service Station is part of Vivo Energy Uganda’s efforts to enhance its retail offerings and provide customers with a world-class experience.
