KAMPALA – Kampala socialite and ex-TV presenter Justine Nameere, is making headlines again for the wrong reasons after a money lender has threatened.to impound ‘her car’ for failing to pay up a loan.
The money lenders, through their lawyers Namara Twenda &Co Advocates gave the mother of two seven days to pay up her loan or have her Mercrdedes registration number UBA 392S, which she used as security to acquire the purported loan, impounded.
The year 2018 is proving to be the worst for Nameere because it’s battle after battle, on April 1, 2018, former workmate at Serena-based Ntv (where Justine first worked) Faridah Nakazibwe, accused Nameere of feeding her husband with wrong information aiming at breaking her marriage and also accused her of threatening her life.
Justine denied the claims and took to court suing Faridah for Shs500m for slander, defamation and other damages. The matter is still in court.
Last month, Nameere is said to have sued Daily Monitor for ‘continuously writing false stories’, about her which she said are damaging her businesses, clientele and marriage.
She also took to court again last month asking court to block her renown rival Nakazibwe (as the two don’t seem to stop fighting) from travelling to the US ere she is to host the upcoming Uganda Festival citing that it will be impossible for court to issue an order against her when she is out of the country.
Justine has worked for quite a number of media houses including Ntv, Bukkede Tv, Urban Tv, Salt Tv, to mention but a few.
