Social media has been awash with screenshots of singer Nince Henry’s suicidal threats flying all over.
All is surely not well with the Çinderella’ singer and songwriter, Nince Henry after he alluded to suicide on social media, leaving many of his fans worried.
“Ngenda Kwetta leero! Kilo Kyaleero!,”Nince wrote on his Facebook a message that is loosely translated as, “I am going to end my life today night.”
A number of fans have since come out to show concern for the singer, with most of them offering words of hope and asking him to reconsider his decision and seek help.
The post stirred a lot of argument among his followers and the general public with some people opining that the post would be stunt for promotional purposes as he has a new single titled ‘Killer Potion’ that he is trying to push.
Although he has gotten feedback, some people have just decided to bash and create several memes.
Much as it remains unclear what triggered the suicidal thoughts, it appears the singer could be dealing with depression and unmet financial obligations resulting from continued lockdown on the entertainment industry for close to a year now over the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nince Henry is considered one of Uganda’s best song writers known for songs such as (Birowoozo), (Akamwako and Minzani), (Oli Wange), (Omukwano Gunyuma), (Ekikunyumira), (Buyonjo), and (Kisumuluzo) among others.
