Rapper Navio Kigozi has shown commitment towards his love relationship with Matilda Nasimbwa. Over the weekend, Navio visited Matilda’s parents at an occasion graced by a number of Kampala A-listers, among them; Jose Chameleone, Judith Heard and Salvador Idringi, among others.
A wedding is said to be in the offing. The Kwanjula as is popularly known was also attended by Navio’s mother, Maggie Kigozi, although sources say she didn’t like Matilda in the beginning.
“Navio’s family was in the early days not impressed with the rapper’s choice of girl. They had their reservations,” says an insider.
Navio, however, dismissed the claims in an interview with a local tabloid in 2017.
“Matilda is loved. Everyone in the family likes her,” he said.
Matilda and Navio have been inseparable since they started dating. They starting going public early 2017 and one of the events they graced was Queen of Katwe where they raised eyebrows.
Navio has two children from a previous relationship. He was previously dating a one Sophie, but things didn’t work out.
