KAMPALA- An American rapper Curtis James Jackson alias 50 Cent is reportedly coming to Uganda with the aim of boosting the country’s tourism sector.
According to Amos Wekesa, the CEO Great Lakes Safaris through his Facebook page, the International music star will be in the country anytime and he alerted his social media followers to watch out for the rapper’s arrival.
“So what songs did 2 cents sing? He is coming to Uganda and I need to know just one song he sang before arrives,” Wekesa asked in a post on his Facebook page.

However, he was later challenged by one of his followers who collected him that the music icon is called ‘50 Cent’ not ‘2Cent’.
“Thank you guys for educating me about 50 cent… he is coming to Uganda unless something drastic happens. I can’t know about wildlife and musicians at the same time and besides, why would someone call themselves 50 cent,” wrote Wekesa.
“Bambi don’t argue with me, just stake your money!!!! For those that laughed at me, expect invoices in your inboxes,” ends his post.
50 Cent will be the second international American artist to visit Uganda on intentions of boosting tourism following rapper and music rival Kanye West who was here a few weeks back with his wife Kim Kardashian.
50 Cent, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, television producer, businessman, and investor.
He was born in the South Jamaica neighborhood of the borough of Queens.
