KAMPALA- The Uganda fashion entrepreneur and designer Sylvia Owori has launched a social media war against Barbie Kyagulanyi Itungo, a wife to Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine claiming she has never been inspirational.
Recently, Barbie was seen with American Ambassador Malac Deborah, D.r Maggie Kigozi, French Ambassador Stephanie Rivoal, Kasese Woman MP Winnie Kiiza and Sarah Sali at Kampala GeoPolitics conference hosted at Makerere, something Owori says was not right and that she didn’t deserve to be among them.
The fashionista went to her Social Media platforms, posted asking how and when Barbie has been among powerful inspirational women in the country.
“Kyagulanyi Barbie Itungo, I am a little confused here. Are you one of the most powerful inspirational women in Uganda??? There are over 1000 women who should have rightfully been on that panel discussing Women issues. Let us not mix politics with meritocracy,” posted Owori.
Barbie also went ahead and replied to the statement, something that pulled their followers to intervene.

“When you choose to attack a humble woman, you need to be psychologically prepared, because they do not stop a fire with fire, they haunt your mind. And this is what Mrs Kyagulanyi did. Sylvia Owori, am I one of the most powerful inspirational women in Uganda? OH YES I AM ONE OF THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL WOMEN UGANDA HAS EVER HAD and you are an inspiration too Mama. I hope they invite you next time because I know you would fit on this panel just like a Million other Inspirational women out here,” replied Barbie.

Sylvia Owori is the former ‘NTV Style project’ host who had joined the station in November 2014.
She later threw in the towel, claiming she had landed on greener pasture.
“I would like to announce to all my fans and well-wishers my resignation as the host of NTV Style project,” she announced.
“This comes after a great deal of contemplation and consultation on what could be the best way forward for me and the show that I have grown to so much appraise.”
