
Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer, David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is coming to Kampala for “30 Billion Concert”.
By 11 am, MTN Uganda had already given out 15 tickets to lucky winners on #TidalxMTN.
Davido’s “30 Billion Concert” will be held at Pearl of Africa Hotel curtsey of Pepsi and B Club on December 31, 2018.
On Sunday, December 30, he will hold a B-Club VVIP Pool Party at Pearl of Africa hotel gardens.
This will be a “Meet and Greet”. Dress code is beach wear white or pink.
Tables will go for Shs1m, Shs3m to Shs5m. General entrance will be Shs100,000.
Tickets are already on sale at MTN Service Centres, Acacia Mall, Forest Mall Lugogo and Kampala Road.
The show will start on Monday, December 31, 2018, at 4:00 PM and end on Tuesday, January 01, 2019 at 6:00 AM.
Local singers Sheebah Karungi, Beanie Gunter, Lydia Jasmine, Gravity Omutujju and The Ben from Rwanda will perform at the concert.
n 2014, Davido had a bad experience in Uganda where Raymond Mayanja, the son to city tycoon Sarah Kizito, allegedly chewed the money Davido’s father, Dr. Deji Adekele, sent him to organise a concert.
Davido’s 2011 single “Dami Duro” was well-received throughout Nigeria bringing him international fame.
Along with his elder brother Adewale Adeleke, Davido is the co-owner of HKN Music.
