
KAMPALA – The Uganda-France friendship week has embraced a ray of class in the fashion industry with several acts and showcasing driving the classic crowd into a frenzy.

Hosted at the residence of the French ambassador to Uganda H. E Stephanie Rivoal, the fashion show attracted notable players in the game and across the social scene.
It was one of the week-long activities that will be climaxed on Saturday, March 23, as France – Uganda Friendship Week took a notch higher.

“How you dress matters alot and if you want to be remembered or noticed; pick an attire that fits you and looks elegant. Beauty and confidence go hand in hand; believe in yourself; walk with your chin up and those around you will always remember you, ” said Stephanie Rivoal, the French Ambassador to Uganda.
She added: “Tonight we are going to see beautiful people dressed in very nice fashion Creations that you are going to see from designers and beauty comes with in”
“This gives an opportunity to connect with people from different cultures and also support upcoming new designers who are showcasing on the runway and also have a platform to sell our products, ” said Emmanuel Bagwana creative director Eguana Kampala.

The event had designers that included ; Josephine Nakafeero, Martin Larry, made in Africa (Madouce) from Gabon, Rise up Hub (Donnas Ojok), Lilian Kyabaki, Anita Beryl, Stella Atal (France-based Ugandan designer), Aude Langlois – Meurinne , Academic collaboration Records and Lisaa Fashion School Uganda.
It was crowned off by a silent auction of selected oufits to raise funds for a charitable cause.
