KAMPALA – Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) TV presenter Calvin Kalule, also known as Calvin Da Entertainer, has been appointed the newest brand ambassador at Uganda Breweries’ (UBL) Red Card Campaign.
Mr. Kalule, who just won the Media Personality Award of the Year in the MTN Hip Hop Awards joins the team of other ambassadors where he is the responsible drinking ambassador.
UBL’s Red Card Campaign announced on twitter asking their followers to welcome Calvin on board.
“Meet @calvinug our new responsible drink ambassador. Welcome him on board,” Red Card Campaign Ug wrote.
The campaign aims at reducing road accidents that are mostly caused by drivers driving under the influence of alcohol.
The Horizon Vibe presenter joins other Red Card Campaign Ug ambassadors such as Flavia Tumusiime and Vinka who also joined in December last year.
As the responsible drinking ambassador, Mr. Kalule will be expected to create awareness on responsible consumption of alcohol.
