KAMPALA – Drama unfolded over the weekend in Kampala as another woman introduced the husband to Buikwe Woman Member of Parliament, Judith Babirye.
The Buikwe North MP, Paul Mukasa Ssebulime had earlier on wedded his fellow legislator in March last year.
Sources close to the power couple have disclosed that Hon. Ssebulime was officially introduced by his first wife, Lukia “Nalongo” Nantale to her parents in a secret traditional ceremony known as “Kukyala”.
The ritual was reportedly held under very tight security and was attended by very few invited guests.
The ephemeral wedlock between the two political powerhouses is said to have been very rocky following Hon. Babirye’s consistent bickering over Nantale.
Reliable sources say that these squabbles reached a shattering climax which compelled the couple to split. Subsequently, Hon Ssebulime apologized to his ex, Nantale and the two made up.
The re-united couple has rekindled their old flame are even contemplating to wed very soon.
Sources revealed that the disgruntled female legislator recently flew to USA to cool off the mounting stress after the anguish of learning about her husband’s betrayal.
In a surprising twist of events, when the two legislators were still dating last year, a bitter Nantale publically expressed her disapproval towards Babirye whom she had constantly warned to back off her man.
