
KAMPALA — Buganda Kingdom Premiere Charles Peter Mayiga has urged Uganda’s youths to embrace a positive work ethic as the only path to success.
Katikiro Mayiga, who was speaking at the 7th Edition of the “Meet the Boss”, also said development should not only be measured in terms of physical infrastructure but also in the wellbeing and productiveness of the country’s population.
“I am impressed by young people who are willing to put their backs to sweat in order to make a living. I’m impressed by such people especially young ones,” he said.
“It is okay to have Mark Zuckerberg, or Barrack Obama, or Jayz, or Christiano Ronaldo as your inspiration. that okay, but you’re not likely to meet them,” said urging youth to always seek inspirations from people around or nearby them.
He also urged government to create an environment that enables the youths to earn whatever little they may realise from their seemingly gamble traits and ensure that these earnings are consistent.
Eventually, he said, these little earnings will stimulate their consumption and the resultant demand create the need for industries

Owek. Robert Nsibirwa, the Mayiga’ s deputy who was among the panelists asked businessmen to partner with kingdom and take advantage tonits rich population.
The deputy Katikiro revealed that there over 20 million people in Buganda, all of which are potential clients though there is need to translate them into effective demand for products and services.
This he said, they are loyal people ready to support which key advantage in doing business with the kingdom.
