
KAMPALA —Businessman Rajiv Rupaleria has confirmed that goats will be racing again on Saturday October 12 at the goat-race birthplace, Speke Resort Munyonyo, on the shores of Lake Victoria.
Rajiv who heads the organising committee said that the Royal Goat race event is ultimately the fun show for everyone who likes to socialise and network people from various circles.
“Come and make contacts, friendships and I urge you to come for this charity cause. You can buy a goat or attend for just UGX50,000,” he said.
Tickets will go for UGX 50,000 and they are readily available to all Speke Hotels in Kampala, according to organizers.
Like it was in the past races, the best dressed male and female, best dressed child, best dressed couple and best hat will all receive prizes.

Gates open from 8am with the goat races starting at 10:30am.
A cross section of people comprising of: royals, corporates, diplomats, glitterati, businessmen, travel blogger and media, social media influencers and a cross section of high society usually flock Munyonyo for the goat races.
Rajiv, disclosed that proceeds from this edition will go to charity and in particular to the construction of sanitary toilets at Good Samaritan High School in Kamwokya.
