KAMPALA – Devoss media, a production company is yet to release a new movie, titled “Engato” this year 2020.
According to Mr Moses Devoss, Engato film was set to be premiered in on June 25, 2020 at national theatre however it was postponed because one of the main actors and a producer Dr Jude kabagambe got infected with Covid-19 on April 4, 2020.
“But the good news from the ministry of health is that Dr Jude recovered but is under watch by the ministry of health,” he told PML Daily.
The movie was written and directed by Moses Devoss, produced by Dr Jude kabagambe and also directed by merc boltwood a Canadian film maker.
Engato was written basing on a romantic story of a skater who lost his brother in a car accident during skating and later was blamed for the death of his brother, and his mother became mentally sick and was to the rehabilitation due to the death of her son.
The sound was composed by francesco tresca a Hollywood movie sound composer.
The movie is starring fresh actor Shafiq Devoss a brother to Moses Devoss who is a professional photographer from paramount images uganda, whose office is at serena hotel kampala,
The movie is also featuring Jeff Roberts Walusimbi, who has featured in quite a number of films including catch up from kyooto media group, he is a model from extreem casting, he has featured in a number of tv commercials and adverts for mtn, bank of africa,dstv and many more.
“Engato” is also starring ugandan stakers from makerere skating community from makerere University.

Moses devoss is a ugandan film maker/photographer and rapper, born in kampala uganda, devoss has worked on a number of movies including “the rise of kibwetere,the ring,never retired,dreaming camera and uncle kibwe which he did from kisumu kenya.

Francesco tresca from from france is a sound track composer who has worked on movies like batman and many from Hollywood.
