Panda who also doubles as a television personality, has warned them not to even try affiliating this tune to their campaigns and they should bear in mind that the song lyrics are copyrighted.
“Dear Politicians I warn you please, use my song ‘Kyoyina Omanya’ for your rallies when you know the lyrics are copyrighted so when I sue you don’t say I didn’t warn you all,” wrote Panda on his official social media accounts.
Panda also denied having ties to any political party.
“Y’all mark this tweet, me I don’t belong to any political group, keep it in the mind. Let me hope I am loud and clear. Dear politician,” he added.
Panda has had such a successful year in his music career releasing a masterpiece (Kyoyina Omanya) that has flourished on local airwaves and digital platforms worldwide. He also did a remix of this song where he featured one of Uganda’s top diva’s Sheebah Karungi.
