KAMPALA – City socialite and media personality Sheila Gashumba has called upon President Museveni to employ his grandchildren as a way to save the population from their unbecoming actions.
This was after the YoKuku brand ambassador narrowly survived goons sneaking her phone out of the car as she was driving along the Jinja road traffic lights.
The celebrated social media influencer shared her account on how she narrowly survived losing her phone to thugs while stuck in traffic jam.
The youthful social media icon disclosed that a thug tried to grab her phone through the car window and he almost made off with it. He, however, failed because it was tightly inserted in the charger, Sheila shared on her tweeter account.
“Omg! I can’t believe this! Some guy wanted to grab my phone through my car window! Thank God it was plugged in a charger! Wtf!! So that’s how phones get stolen in traffic! Museveni, please employ your grandchildren! They want to steal our phones.” she tweeted.
Sheilah learnt her lesson of always making sure that whenever she is held in traffic, she has to keep her car window screens raised high to avoid such cases.
Having survived the scare, she made an alarm to the Head of State to employ his grandchildren so that such habits come to an end.
Sheila has for long been a motivational figure for her peers and even the older figures in the Ugandan entertainment circles.
She continues to sign ambassadorial and endorsement deals that add a number of millions to her name with the latest being a deal the Lil stunner signed with Yo Kuku, worth Shs100m.
Her luck in landing endorsements and such ambassadorial roles has been largely attributed to the mentorship of her father Frank Gashumba who is always there for her at all times guiding her and steering her to the right direction.
