KAMPALA – After the National Unity Platform (NUP) denying singer Sadat Mukiibi alias Khalifa Aganaga the party ticket for the Rubaga South MP seat, the singer is not ready to cry over spilled milk.
Aganaga has allegedly landed himself a collaboration with President Museveni, who also is flag bearer for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) in the 2021 elections where he is the sole candidate.
Through his social media platforms, the singer announced he was soon releasing a song with President Museveni of NRM, claiming they have already worked out the song.
“As you know I am good at making old people sing hits in this industry, as a producer, best songwriter, a sound engineer, and a businessman, I have landed on a collabo with the Current President of Uganda, H.E Yoweri Museveni,” he said.
The song which is a remake of his collabo with Jose Chameleone dubbed Kibooko Remix with changed lyrics, Khalifa heaps praises on President Yoweri Museveni in a song that appears to be a campaign theme for him (president Museveni).
The song outlines the achievements of Museveni ever since he captured power in 1986. It also compares him to the past leaders of Uganda saying he has surely steered the country to the right direction.
Some of the lyrics go like ‘Akalulu tokawa oyo fala, Ono Muzeeyi Fire, nkamuwa nkamuwa nkamuwa’ loosely translated as “Do not give the vote to the other person, give it to Mzeyi who is Fire’ and Khalifah goes on to outline the achievements of Museveni in the different sectors of the economy.

Khalifah has since then received a lot of social media criticism from supporters of National Unity Platform, a party he was earlier on subscribing to until he was denied a ticket to run for the Rubaga South Seat.
It could be this that the singer based on to contemplate relocating to President John Pombe Magufuli’s land, Tanzania after the 2021 general elections.
The Bad Character Records CEO made the statements via his social platforms after receiving the wrath of Ugandans online both local and international who claimed he had betrayed the ‘struggle’.
The Ekitangaaza singer who apparently lives in fear of being pelted with bottles as it was with Bebe Cool and Big Eye months ago during stage performances, AgaNaga is opting to relocate to Tanzania where he only plans to perform from.
“After 2021 am relocating to Tanzania. Am going to be performing in TANZANIA only. The good thing you support the Tanzanians. You will have to travel and come to throw the bottles,” he posted.
