KAMPALA – Presidential envoy to the Ghetto and singer Mark Bugembe alias Buchaman has come out to clear the air on his relationship with fellow singer Rocky Giant after a video of him beating the rapper went viral on social media two days ago.
In an interview with a local TV station the self-styled Ghetto President explained that he was not ready to defend his actions towards Rocky Giant but emphasized that the two are good friends.
Buchaman said that Rocky used to go to his home begging for money and he could help anytime he had some cash on him, but was shocked when the singer went behind his back to trash talk him to all ghetto youths.
In his defense, Butchaman revealed how the clip that made rounds was about four days old since Rocky was beaten by the ghetto youths in Katwe.
He stressed that the “Paka Last” hit rapper’s despairs started when he stormed different ghetto’s claiming to be the Ghetto President while bad-mouthing him (Buchaman)
“People in ghetto are always high, you talk nonsense and they immediately give you an uppercut. Rocky was beaten by ghetto youths in Katwe for saying that he is the ghetto president and that he has money to give them. After beating him, they brought him to my place to raise the concern but my people were already mad and I couldn’t do much for him,” Buchaman said.
Buchaman further claimed that on different several occasions, Rocky Giant has been narrating to him his needs and troubles and he (Buchaman) always bailed him out whenever he could opening doors for Rocky Giant in times of need but the ungrateful faded hip-hop star paid him back with envy.
“After being beaten up, he approached me saying that he has been beaten up by my ghetto youths but I told him I wasn’t the one who commanded them to do so thereafter he left and returned after two days. On his return, he found my children outside and started insulting them plus wishing them death,” he said.
Giving her account of the whole scenario, Buchaman’s baby Mama popularly known as Mama Ghetto said veteran rapper Rocky Giant is a highly loved person but ill-mannered too.
She explained that the Pakalast rapper has a feeling of low self-esteem that has dissuaded him from chasing after his goals and desires.

She furthermore advised him to stop looking down on himself and thinking that he can’t do better than how he is performing currently.
“Rocky is loved and welcome but at the same time he is ill-mannered and that’s why I failed to defend him because when I tried he refused. He failed to even listen to me. He sometime back wished death for my children but when he apologized, I forgave him and welcomed him back home with open hands,” she said.
Weighing in on the matter just like other artistes who have heavily criticized Buchaman’s barbaric acts on fellow singer Rocky Giant, seasoned TV personality Douglas Lwanga through his social media platforms called out the presidential envoy to apologize to the rapper and the fraternity.
“If a Presidential Advisor can act this way then it is heartbreaking. Why would you force someone to recognize you as a ghetto president? Respect should be earned bro not forced,” he posted.
Lwanga further noted that he hopes Buchaman comes through and apologizes to Rocky Giant and the Art Industry advising him not to allow power to get to his head.
