KAMPALA – Controversial City pastor, Franklin Mondo Mugisha has described people and pastors who call him a spy, as criminals.
While appearing on a local television talk show, the Empowerment Christian Prayer Center International lead Pastor is of the view that if the church was free of crime and any other wrong doings why then would they fear a spy around their premises.
“Any person or pastor who claims or believes that I am a spy is a criminal. If they are not criminals why would they think like that and why would they fear me. If you are sure that the church has no criminals and all other sorts of wrongdoers why do they fear a spy? Any person who tells you or points at me calling me a spy, you just get to know that that person is a criminal,” he shared.
The man of God further warned whoever calls him a spy to stay alert because when he finds them doing anything wrong or in possession of firearms yet they claim to have the Holy Spirit, he will expose them.
“Whoever says am a spy, yes, I am a spy because if I find you committing a crime or having a gun just know I will expose you because being a spy is a job that is paid for.”
Mondo has recently been in the news for releasing singer Julie Mutesasira Naluggya’s photos while marrying a fellow woman.
Mondo explained that he decided to release the photo because many people were castigating the man of God (Pastor Mutesasira) for marrying another woman a few days back which he felt was not good and fair.
“It really hurts me because I don’t want to be the reason for the church to split. I had to release the photo to challenge those who have been judging Pastor Steven Mutesasira’s decision to marry another woman,” Pastor Mondo said.
