
KAMPALA – Makerere Full Gospel church lead pastor Martin Ssempa has requested the Uganda Communications Commission to review and ban a song dubbed he says promotes immorality.
The song dubbed ‘Maama Kabina’ is a composition of celebrated music Dj Nimrod and a young promising talent Nisay P.
The song title loosely translated as a ‘big bummed woman’ apparently sounds vulgar to some people like children and youth according to Pastor Ssempa who says it promotes immorality.
The controversial pastor who is well known for throwing comments on whatever is trending did not miss his words on this song again and had to come out of his comfort zone to say something about it.
The man of God who is is also known for boldly speaking his mind against obscenity in society was quick to attack Dj Nimrod and Nisay P through his Twitter platform.
He called out UCC to ban the song because it is dirty and not good for consumption by society.
Dj Nimrod was quick to clap back by telling him to leave UCC work and concentrate on his church ministry.
The celebrated Deejay went ahead to tell him that the song is not vulgar like he claims but the title, “Maama Kabina” is a normal vocabulary used in everyday life.
