
KAMPALA– South African star singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka will be in Uganda next week to perform at the Charity Show organised by Shule Foundation.
Shule Foundation that takes care of about 30 children celebrates Watoto Mtani Project one year anniversary where it looks forward to raising funds from the event to construct a unique educational facility for street kids.

Upon her arrival, there will be celebration of Nelson Mandela 100th year at Mandela National stadium in Namboole and the South African Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Lekoa Solly Mollo will grace the function.
Shule Foundation is an NGO that supports street children. It is an educational not-for-profit organisation, working to expand the availability of quality educational opportunities amongst street children.
Nelson Mandela, the icon for South Africa’s anti-apartheid revolution, political leader, and philanthropist was born on July 18, 1918 in Mvezo, South Africa.
Mandela spent 27 years of his youthful productive life in prison for agitating against discrimination of blacks by the whites.
On being released Mandela served as president of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.
He married Graca Machel, after divorcing his second wife Winnie Madikizela Mandela who died early this year.
Mandela died on December 5, 2013 at the age of 95.
Chaka Chaka will perform live at Serena Hotel on Friday 20. Local artistes like Bobi Wine and comedian Salvado will also perform at the concert.
Chaka Chaka is an internationally recognised South African singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, humanitarian and teacher. She was born March 18, 1965, in Dobsonville, Soweto, South Africa.
She is married to Mandlalele Mhinga and they have four children.
