KAMPALA– Unidentified people hacked and illegally owned Anne Kansiime’s Instagram account leaving her in great shock.
According to the comedian Kansiime, the hacked account has over 3million followers.
“Am so broken! I swear I will be lying if I don’t confess that am literally crying as I type this… Some human being just hacked into my Instagram account and kidnapped all my over 3million followers and left me with an audience of zero ninjas!!!!! Hoona what is this!?,” Kansiime wrote on her official Facebook page.
In a move to regain her followers, Kansiime has already opened up a new account on Instagram in the names of @kansiimeanne256 where she is gradually gaining new followers.
She has also asked her old followers to unfollow the old hacked account and refollow her on the new open page.
“Please my ninjas unfollow the other Instagram page you had followed and only follow me on the NEW HANDLE @kansiimeanne256,” asked Kansiime.
She also advised her followers to always change their social media account password to avoid hackers from easy access of their accounts.
“Please change your password occasionally and be vigilant my ninjas. I love you and am here crying in my corner…sniff sniff #HackersAreTheDevil I miss all my ninjas,” she lamented.
Kansiime Kubiryaba Anne commonly known as Anne Kansiime, is a Ugandan entertainer, comedian, and actress.
She has been referred to as “Africa’s Queen of Comedy” by some African media outlets.
She was born in April 13, 1987 (age 31 years), in Kabale district western Uganda.
