KAMPALA- One of Uganda’s young talented artists George Williams Kigozi better known as Geosteady has denied claims made by his management on Tuesday September 4 that he went missing in the U.S where he had gone to perform at UNAA convention.
Earlier this month, Geosteady’ s fans were taken to panic mode when Blackman Entertainment management owned by the artist posted on social media including own Instagram page that he had been missing in Baltimore, Massachusetts in the U.S and called upon anyone who saw him to notify the authority immediately.
The following day, the same artist who was pronounced missing posted on his Instagram page a video of him excitedly driving on the streets of U.S. and he didn’t address his missing claims to fans that were left bitter for being used.
In a television interview on Friday September 14, Geosteady said his management had made false alarms claiming that he went away from them without notice and he believed it’s what scared them, adding that, he had gone to Baltimore for some charity and refuted claims that he was pulling stunts to promote his new song and upcoming concert.
Many artists in Uganda usually do a series of things to promote their songs and concerts or as a way of a comeback.
Geosteady is a Ugandan R&B singer, songwriter and producer. In 2016, he was awarded Best Collaboration at Uganda Entertainment Awards for the song ‘SAME WAY’.
