KAMPALA- Uganda’s funkiest Dynamic DJ Duo slick Stuart and Roja Promise fun, raving and grooving ahead of their 5th Mixtape party.
The mixtape party started four years at the former club venom before going to Laftaz and Golf Course Hotel during the second, third and fourth editions and it has picked up steady fast to become one of Kampala’s most sought for the end of year party, listed on the social calendar.
This year’s edition is slated for Friday, November 23 at Golf Course Hotel.
The fans will dance to the newest jams and enjoy showcases from Kampala’s finest DJs like Nash, Jose 256, Selector Jay, VDJ Mercy Pro, Dash, Hearts, Meek, Naselow Da Don and hope from the United Kingdom.
Roja and Slick Stuart have changed the game in the music industry as the first DJ Duo by doing extraordinary work in uniting the DJs by being an Example, Professionalising the business and also working closely with artists.
They have been nominated and won accolades like the Hip-hop awards as Best DJ of the year (2017), Buzz Teen awards (2016) and at the Nigerian Music awards as the Best DJ of the year.
The game changers have also worked with great artists both local and international and featured in very many music videos as DJ headliners with big tunes like “Pon mi” featuring Beenie Gunter, “Up in the Air ” featuring Cindy & Kemishan, ” Eva ” featuring Ykee Benda, Attention featuring Naira Ali among others.
The DJ Duo also released ” Very well ” a few months ago that is rocking the airwaves, played in most hangout places and has gone viral on various media platforms.
The 5th mixtape party organised by Talent Africa under the stewardship of Aly Alibhai has attracted corporate Sponsors like Coca-Cola, Kellagram, Silk events, Uganda Waragi, NBS TV and Nxt Radio.
