
KAMPALA– Ugandan rapper Daniel Lubwama Kigozi commonly known as Navio this week embroiled in a fight with a Makerere university student at one Atmosphere bar in Kololo, Kampala.
According to information reaching this website, a student identified by one name Carol was elbowed by the artist who claimed Carol had blocked his way to the bar.
The angry Carol confronted Navio for disrespecting her but she was blocked by Navio’s bodyguard, Billy.
Nevertheless, Carol’s crew of six which included two boys gave their friend support and insulted much the musician who adamantly refused to apologise.
An exchange of insults ensued especially as Navio, was not willing to say sorry.
The two groups were thrown out of the bar by the management before Navio took off.
Navio 35 is a Ugandan rapper. Starting off his career, he was part of the award-winning Hip hop group Klear Kut that introduced the term “Ugaflow” to describe Uganda’s hip hop scene.
Navio is best known for his successful solo career with hits such as “Ngalo”, “Bugumu”, “One & Only”, and “On and On.
