KAMPALA – Cinderella Sanyu a.k.a Cindy the self proclaimed ‘King herself’ put up a scintillating performance for her fans in London over the weekend in a sold out musical show.
According to those in attendance, the songstress was visibly overwhelmed by the massive turn out at the London concert.
“Thanks a lot London. I will not forget all this love. I knew I would have a good crowd but I didn’t expect this many people. God bless y’all,” Cindy stated.
Cindy recently flew to Britain for the performance at the expense of Swangz Avenue’s “BellAllstar” concert which she turned down in favour of the international gig.
Cindy is a Ugandan an fro pop singer and song writer, who started her solo music career with her debut hit single “ayokyayoya” in 2009 which was followed “By one and only” in 2010.
She has won 3 national awards for her solo efforts and another one from her when she was still member of the now defunct Blu*3 afro pop trio, among other accolades.
In 2009, during the PAM awards, she won in the accolade of female artiste of the year in the Diva Awards.
Cindy has also toured Sweden, UK, Denmark, Dubai, Sudan and other countries where she has been traversing to widen her fan base.
Cindy’s music has been playing on several media houses such as MTV base ,Channel O among others.
