KAMPALA– Uganda is a magnet for Nigerian music superstars,the latest icon on our radar is Skales who will be in Kampala this August.
Nigerian singer and songwriter Skales whose original names are Raoul John Njeng Njeng is expected to thrill Ugandans this month.
The Naija music icon is slated to stamp his music foot print again at Blankets and wines on Sunday, August 25, at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Skales was recently in Uganda in 2017 for the Ciroc pool party at Silver Springs Bugolobi where he delivered a spectacular performance back then.
He is known for his massive tunes that have received heavy rotation and massive airplay include; “Shake body” , “Booty languange” , “Shaku Shaku” , “fire waist” ,” must shine ” among others
With his sensational touch in HipHop and R& B ,he has been able to work with prolific artists and continental music stars such as Wizkid, Patoranking , Jesse Jazz, Sarkodie, Banky W to mention but a few.
On the local scene he has done formidable collaborations with Beenie Gunter, Cindy Sanyu and the dynamic spin duo of Slick Stuart and Roja as well as Tanzania’s Harmonize from Wasafi.
The 23rd edition will embrace our very own artists like Kent & Flosso ( Voltage Music ), Moroots, Herbert Ssensamba and DJ Ciza on the decks, the concert is powered by Next Radio, Coca-Cola, Stanbic Bank, Tusker Malt Lager and Silk events under the stewardship of House of DJ’z.
