KAMPALA – Celebrated American based Nigerian rapper Jidenna Theodore Mobisson alias Jidenna has on Sunday morning arrived in the country ahead of Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards 2019.
Jiddena together with his band and were received by Talent Africa CEO and Brian Ahumuza of Abryanz Collection at 3 am.
This year’s edition running under the theme “The Starz” is slated for Friday, December 23 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
According to organisers, the early coming of Jiddena is to allow ample time for rehearsals and also to avoid last-minute panics with flights.
Jidenna 34, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer from Imo State, Nigeria. In 2015, he released two singles, “Classic Man” and “Yoga”, promoting Janelle Monáe’s label Wondaland Records’ compilation EP The Eephus with Epic Records.
The nominees in the different categories were unveiled at a glamorous release party held at Kingdom Kampala on Saturday, December 7.
The awards show celebrates and acknowledges African Fashion Industry stakeholders including fashion designers, models, icons, media personalities among others.
