KAMPALA – When you talk about using social media to align your goals, most people will not understand it but people like Pius Mayanja better known by his stage name Pallaso will.
The singer who recently called upon the government via social media to test the CoronaVirus vaccine first on the government officials themselves is at it again.
The ‘Akomelerwe’ hit maker in a new controversial post shares how he is blessed to have a new hit dubbed Malamu that is currently trending.
He is however bothered by the fact that his new ‘hit’ does not have a video yet there are other songs according to him that are not hits but have visuals to their name.
The singer in a post on his social media platforms is calling upon his fans to raise money for him so he can be able to drop the Malamu video.
“I have a hit song but no video. Others have videos but no hit song. Can my fans help me raise money for Malamu Video so I can have hit song and video,” Pallaso posted on his social media platforms.
We all know social media is a powerful tool of communication in this day and age and we can’t wait to see how fans will respond to Pallaso’s request.
A number of artists command a huge fan base and following on social media and this could be Pallaso’s charm, to tap into these numbers to have his interests fulfilled.
The singer who hails from Team Good Music (his own record label) has had a successful music career ever since he decided to return from the United States after the success of his first collaboration with Radio and Weasel dubbed Amaaso.
Pallaso has had a number of hit songs to his name and if fans respond positively to his request, it will be a trendsetter for other artists to rally their fans on social media for financial support in their music career now that the industry is struggling with the Covid-19 pandemic.
