KAMPALA – For the past three weeks, the bi-weekly music concert dubbed Club Beatz at home has not been happening. The thrilling concert came back to light over the weekend Lilian Mbabazi, Shaka Mao and Eezzy headlining the Club Pilsener-sponsored show.
Shaka Mao, the little known among the three set the ball rolling for the action on Saturday night as the first performer. He performed two songs; ‘Plastic Lover’ and ‘Like I do’.
The singer also did a cover of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ amidst his ‘Like I Do’ performance and that must have left so many fans, who were watching him for the first time, impressed. It is a performance that he will probably never forget.
Eezzy, famed for his ‘Tumbiza Sound’ was next on stage and like on previous occasions, he never leaves the stage the same way he found it. His command of the audience, energy and stage presence are attributes to reckon with.
The former Purple Chord artiste did ‘Kuki’ and ‘Tumbiza Sound’. Towards the end of his exhilarating performance, he asked the Ministry of Health to be considerate of his song.
For some time now, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding Eezzy’s “Tumbiza sound” song with many people claiming the song fuels the flauting of the SOPs put in place to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
Lilian Mbabazi finally made her grand entry and took the stage dressed like the star she is.

Fenon Events still on this as usual brought out Lilian’s star character excellently with the way she was presented. Steve Jean blended the stage effects with Lilian’s outfits and brought out the angelic diva in her for the online revelers.
The ‘Dagala’ singer performed in two sessions and on each appearance, Fenon gave her a different background. The most exciting one was the one made of a guitar with words forming wings.
The songstress performed most of her songs including Vitamin, Danger, Simple girl, Dagala and then invited rapper ‘The Mith’ on stage to do their ‘Could it be You’ jam.
Most notably and outstanding in her performance was the tribute to the father of her kids, Mowzey Radio. She performed ten of his songs ceaselessly.
