Deceased music icon, Moses Sekibogo, aka Mowzey Radio’s mother Jane Kasubo this morning braved the heavy downpour to appear at Entebbe Magistrate’s court where the main suspect in her son’s killing had appeared for hearing of a murder case against him.
Accompanied by relatives and fellow musicians of the deceased, Ms Kasubo was disappointed when Chief magistrate Mary Kaitesi adjourned the case to April 9 for mention because the defence lawyer Ladislaus Rwakafuzi did not show up in court.
Court sent Godfrey Wamala Godfrey alias Troy, the suspected killer back on remand at Kigo prison.
The state prosecutor Julius Muhiirwe also informed court that police needs more time to wind up inquiries into Troy’s murder case .
Troy was four weeks back remanded to Kigo prison after he was formally charged with Mowzey Radio’s murder that allegedly occurred between 22nd January and February 1 2018.
