Buyaga East MP Eric Musana Acaali is currently admitted to Mityana Hospital in critical condition after being involved in a terrible accident on Mityana- Kampala road at around 9am.
The hospital spokesperson said the MP sustained a head injury and they are doing all they can to save his life.
At the time of the accident, Mr Musana was reportedly rushing for the meeting at State House, which was scheduled to begin 10am.
Parliament has dispatched a medical team to establish the health condition of the MP and whether he needs to be transferred to Kampala for further treatment.
