MUKONO – News reaching PML Daily indicates that Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze has been arrested by police in connection with the murder of Arua Municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga.
Nambooze was picked from her home in Mukono by CID operatives on Wednesday morning and driven to Jinja Road Police Station; where she is currently detained.
The legislator is said to have made remarks that have been circulating on different social media sites, suggesting that she knew the killers of Abiriga.
