ENTEBBE – Kajjansi Magistrate’s Court has committed to the High Court Huzairu Kiwalabye, the brother of Boda Boda 2010 patron Abdallah Kitatta, to stand trial for allegedly murdering Case Hospital accountant Francis Ekalungar in January.
Kiwalabye will appear in the court alongside another Boda Boda 2010 member Deogratius Yiga, Resty Nalunga, a businesswoman, and Muzamir Mawa, a former driver at Case hospital.
Grade One Magistrate Agnes Nambafu committed them on Monday after the state prosecutor Ivan Kyazze said investigations into the matter are complete.
“You are hereby sent to the High Court to stand trial at the next convenient time,” the Magistrate ruled.

The suspects also face the charge of aggravated robbery. Ekalungar was kidnapped on January 2 by unknown assailants on his way to Dfcu Bank to deposit over sh15m belonging to the hospital. A day later, his body was found burnt in Kajjansi off Entebbe Road.
The Kidnappers are suspected to have bundled him in a van, which the killers reportedly hired at Shs200,000 on self-drive basis.
Initially, eight suspects were arrested over the murder but others have since been released following a screening exercise. The two other suspects, who are Congolese nationals; David Fazil Bizmani and Kikandi Muhindo, are still under investigation and could be charged with lesser offences.
