Miriam Kusubira, 46, the said pastor’s wife that had allegedly been kidnapped is alive and well.
Recent reports indicated that Kusubira went missing when she left her home in Masajja to go and pay for a piece of land on Mityana Road.
Police said today that Kusubira masterminded her own kidnap.
According to Police Mrs Kusubira is believed to have connived with a boyfriend to con Pastor Shadrach Kusubira. The alleged kidnappers had asked for Shs50m.
Mrs Kusubira, who is in Police custody at Katwe Police Station has been missing since Friday and she had Shs20m on her at the time of disappearance.
Pastor Kusubira, has been receiving phone calls from the said kidnappers asking for Shs50m on a Sunday June 10 deadline.
