SHEEMA – The FDC candidate in the Sheema Municipality parliamentary election, Ms Virginia Plan Mugyenyi, is currently leading the NRM candidate, Dr Elioda Tumwesigye, as counting gets underway.
Results from 16 polling stations so far put Ms Mugyenyi at 2,529 votes and Dr Tumwesigye at 1,972. The polling stations are 76 in total.
The polling stations so far counted include Kaina, St Rose, Rushoroza, Itegyero, Butsibo Parish, Migina, Nyakabira, Itendero, Kabambari and Rwengando.
