KAMPALA– Ugandan female musician Sheebah Karungi changed the venue for her forthcoming concert, bouncing back to Hotel Africana.
Sheebah 29, had earlier this year announced ‘Omwoyo album launch’ due to take place November 30 at Kyadondo Rugby grounds, Kampala, being a bigger place to accommodate her fans.
Due to reasons only known by her and her management, the venue has been changed a few months to the concert back to Hotel Africana where she had held her first concert.
Sheebah had her first concert in 2016 at Hotel Africana, and it did quite well. Some fans were forced off the venue due to overflow, which prompted the singer to announce she would be hosting her fans at bigger venues to accommodate everyone.
It should be noted that Sheebah and Chameleone had announced same date (November 30) for their concerts. Chameleone later changed to 7th of December, Cricket Oval, Lugogo.
Sheebah Karungi is a Ugandan recording artiste, dancer, and actress debuting her acting career in Queen of Katwe as Shakira. After quitting Obsessions, a dance group she joined in 2006, she rose to recognition upon the release of her hit single titled “Ice Cream”.
