KAMDINI – Information reaching this website indicates that American rapper Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are set to jet-out today along with their team of over 30 people.
According to our source at Chobe, all the artiste needed to do in Uganda is done, which includes recording a few tracks.
The main studio from which he was recording has closed down.
For the five days in Uganda, Kanye West has recorded, visited the president at White House Entebbe and also visited Masulita children’s home.
His next destination is not known but many believe he will be heading down to South Africa.
While visiting Uganda Women’s Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO) Children’s Village in Masulita, Wakiso District on Tuesday, Kanye West said he would work with local musicians to help promote Uganda’s industry.
“Uganda is a very beautiful country and we shall be back soon. We shall work with Uganda musicians to promote their music,” said who was accompanied by his wife.
The popular singer was also accompanied by State Minister for Tourism, Godfrey Kiwanda, minister of Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees, Eng. Hillary Onek among other government officials.
He also offered to help the orphans at the children’s village before donating several pairs of sneakers and T-shirts to them.
“We shall back to work with Uweso Children’s village to make sure the children get a better life,” he added.
West and his wife were flown by military chopper from Chobe Safari Lodge in Murchison Falls national park, where they are staying, to the children’s village in Wakiso District.
