SHEEMA – President Museveni on Wednesday joined the residents of Sheema district in Ankole sub-region to celebrate the victory attained in the recently concluded by-elections in Sheema North constituency.
While addressing the residents of Sheema North, Museveni thanked the people of Sheema for consistently voting National Resistance Movement (NRM).
The President also asked the residents and people of Sheema district to be patient with him and stop worrying over small things because he is still ‘in charge’ of the country.
“Don’t worry about anything we shall tarmac the roads. You should also repent the sin of little faith. You are like disciples who become impatient with Jesus when they were crossing the lake. We have constructed Ishaka Kagamba and many other roads, so we shall not fail to work on this one. Be patient with me,” said Museveni.
“What you sow is what you reap, I know this area very well. All these developments were not there before. Thank you for voting NRM all time,” he added.
The President was speaking at Mutanoge playground in Sheema North where he was a chief guest during the victory party of the newly elected Sheema North member of Parliament Naomi Kibaaju who was elected in October.
The newly elected MP of Sheema North Naomi thanked her supporters for massively voting for her and National Resistance Movement at Large.
She promised to full all pledges and deliver to people.
