KAMPALA – In our article on Thursday, March 21, 2019, under the headline: Parliament wants JSC Secretary Kagole Kivumbi sacked over diversion of funds, WE ERRONEOUSLY referred to the Judiciary Permanent Secretary, Mr. Kagole Kivumbi, as the Secretary to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
We have since established that whereas Mr. Kagole served in the same position before, he was transferred from JSC to the Judiciary in November 2016. We have equally established that Mr. Kagole has NOT appeared before Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in connection to any ongoing investigations related to mismanagement of JSC funds.
