KAMPALA – The Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) will release 2018 center of excellence for competence based assessment, examinations and awards results on Thursday, March, officials confirmed.
The results will be released at President’s Office Conference Hall, Kampala at Midday
Minister of Education and Sports also First Lady Janet Museveni will preside, UBTEB officials confirmed.
“Examinations shall be released online and the public will receive updates by SMS,” their statement adds.
UBTEB’s establishment moves a notch higher government’s effort to skill Ugandans through Competence Based Training and Education with the commitment to producing job makers rather than job seekers.
The establishment of UBTEB is also an additional impetus to the implementation of the BVTET strategic plan 2011-2012, which denotes a paradigm shift for skills development in Uganda.
