KAMPALA – Buhweju County Member of Parliament (MP) Francis Mwijukye’s father Mzee Zonobio Tibeingana is dead.
Mzee Tibeingana passed on at Mulago Hospital on Sunday, June 16 after a prolonged illness.
Hon. Mwijukye, one of his sons, confirms Tibeingana’s death and explains that he succumbed to the cancer of the esophorguus.
Tibeingana has spent most of his life at his home in Butare Parish, Buhweju District.
Funeral arrangements
A family member said Tibeingana’s body will be taken to MP Mwijukye’s home in Luteete Kasangati, for vigil and prayers on Monday, June 17, 2019.
On Tuesday, June 18, morning, a church service will be held at St Charles Lwanga Catholic Church, Ntinda starting at 9:00 before the body is be transported for overnight stay and vigil at their home in Bwoga, Buhweju District.
His remains will later be laid to rest on Wednesday June 19, 2019 at Bwoga, Buhweju starting with a holy Mass at 12pm.
