KAMPALA – After erroneously announcing Ms.Shanita Anshemeza as the Miss Popularity/ MTN pulse.at the Miss Uganda grand finale at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala on Friday, July 26, redress has been sought.
Ms. Bronnie Devine Kusiima has been announced as the legitimate winner ending the contestation
According to the revelations by the team, there was a mix -up in the tabulation from the Miss Uganda application and pulse microsite.
Relatedly, a correction on the platforms was made and Kusiima had accumulated 15,971 votes while Ashemeza aggregated 4,534 votes, though during the eventful day the Miss Uganda app results were the ones considered errantly.

Miss Uganda CEO, Ms. Brenda Nanyonjo revealed that Bronnie Devine Kusiima was the winner according to the tabulation from both applications and apologized for the mischievous results on Friday.
As the winner, Kusiima will get UGX 2M, a smartphone S10e with 4,500 voice minutes and 30GB a month for one year together with Elizabeth Bagaya and Oliver Nakakande the 1st runners -up and Miss Uganda Winner 2019 respectively
