
KAMPALA– Mr Zambali Brasio Mukasa who has been anchoring news at Buganda Kingdom’s BBS Television and on their affiliate CBS radio station has on July 23, been unveiled as part of Next Media Services.
The popular journalist has officially joined NBS Television where will be anchoring the Amasengejje news bulletin that airs daily at 7 pm on NBS television.
Mr Zambali has been unveiled today at Next Media and he has promised to serve the society.
“Those watching and listening to us on all our sites like Next Radio, I am Zambali Brasio Mukasa, I have come to work and also serve you,” he said.
He added that for the years he has worked in the media industry, he has learnt many things.
“I have worked in the media industry for twelve years and the one who taught me journalism told me that the things you do for your own benefit will follow you when you die, but those you do for the society will stay even if you die,” he revealed.
“These are the things that help a country to develop, therefore I have not come to serve myself but rather to serve my audience, so let us meet on NBS Amasengejje.”He added.
Mr Brasio Mukasa has been a broadcaster at BBS Terefayina, during which time he juggled roles as a News Anchor at CBS FM, both are Buganda-Kingdom owned media entities.
Mr Mukasa has also previously served as News Anchor at Beat FM.
He is also a former News Anchor at 91.3 Capital FM and Metro FM.
Next Media Group the corporation behind NBS TV has earned a reputation of attracting and retaining prominent journalists, the media giant has in the past poached journalists such as; Solomon Sserwanjja, Raymond Qataha Mujuni both from NTV and other Television presenters from rival stations that include; Zahara Toto, Anatalia Ozie both from Spark TV, plus Douglas Lwanga and MC Kats who were all poached from Nation Media Group’s NTV.
