Murdered woman cerebrated a year in marriage this month, August.

MUKONO – Police in Mukono District has on Friday afternoon discovered a body of a woman suspected to be Maria Nagirinya who was abducted by unknown men on Wednesday night outside her gate in Lungujja, Rubaga a Kampala suburb.
Speaking to PML Daily on phone, Mr Luke Owoyesigire, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson said that the body of a yet to be known woman has been discovered in Mukono.
“True we have discovered the body of a woman in Mukono but we are waiting for relatives to confirm if its Maria,” said Owoyesigire.
Nagirinya is a daughter to Mr. Francis Lubowa, the Chairman Board of Governors for Community Integrated Development Initiatives (CIDI), where she was employed.
CIDI’s offices are located on Tankhill Road in Muyenga.
This month Nagirinya and Edgar Gateni who lives and works in the U.A.E. made one year in marriage.
According to sources, her car a Spacio, registered No. UBA 570V, was recovered early afternoon at Nateete in Rubaga division.
Nagirinya, a social worker was killed together with a friend, only identified as Roney, that had offered to drive her home, since she had left office late.
