BUJUUKO – Several people are feared dead in a motor accident at Bujuuko trading centre along Mityana – Kampala road in Mpigi District.
Mr. Justus Namara, the Bujjuko OC station said the accident happened on Tuesday morning after a Fuso truck, rammed into a stationary commuter taxi.
Police are yet to confirm the exact number of victims.
Most of the victims were in the taxi.
“It’s true the accident has occurred but I shall give you more details about it later after removing the wreckage of the lorry and the taxi,” Mr. Namara told this reporter.
Mr. Richard Muhoozi, an eyewitness said the road has been blocked for the last 50 minutes.
