WAKISO — High Court judge sitting in Entebbe has issued summons to the DPC Katwe Police Station, SP Frantile Rwamusayi to appear this Friday/27th and testify how he arrested Godfrey Wamala aka Troy ; the man on trial for the murder of late Singer Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio.
Justice Jane Frances Abodo’s was prompted by the request of Proscution’s Joseph Kyomuhendo who informed court that he has contacted SP Rwamusayi several times but he has been elusive .
Describing him as a hostile DPC, Kyomuhendo submitted that Rwamusayi is the one who arrested Troy after Radio’s death at Case Hospital on 1st/February/last year, and he would want him to explain to court where and how he effected the said arrest .
However Troy’s lawyer Leonard Kasibante applied to court to also compel the State prosecutor avail to him the DPC’s statement and those of the remaining witnesses so that he can ably defend his client, which the court concurred with and Prosecution undertook to disclose to them to the defence lawyer by end of today.
Mowzey Radio died of head injury at Case Hospital in Kampala on 1st.February/this year, following a brawl at De Bar, a popular hangout in Entebbe Town, on 22nd/January/2018.
Prosecution alleges that on January 22 while at De Bar in Entebbe, the accused beat up Mowzey and pushed him to the ground.
